COIN SWAP is a decentralized exchange protocol that aims to overcome the limitations and challenges of the current cryptocurrency trading system.
Over time, cryptocurrency financial transactions have been expanded to a wider range with the development of smart contracts, providing a higher level of structure and service, along with a new financial structure called DeFi (decentralized finance).
With the development of blockchain technology, it becomes possible to evolve from Bitcoin to Ethereum and to the next generation of smart contracts, and the number of smart contract applications is increasing exponentially. In addition, the number of digital assets placed on the Ethereum chain has grown exponentially, with the development of a variety of smart contracts and projects. In the process of changing from the existing centralized financial ecosystem to the decentralized financial ecosystem, numerous cryptocurrency financial services have been newly created, and the trend of developing financial services using blockchain is expected to continue in the future. In addition, with this rapid growth, user demands will be increasing to repurpose their portfolios or exchange these digital assets for new services.

We aim to design a protocol that can be an alternative to blockchain order books to make assets flexible and enable the Ethereum ecosystem to overcome limitations and develop.
In the White Paper, we explain in detail the limitations of the blockchain order book and how the P2P method of negotiating off-chain and then settlement in on-chain can work effectively in token exchanges.
